Dr. Firestein, I am 34 and married with one little boy, age 10. I have a sister who is three years younger than me. She got married in her early twenties and has two little girls, ages 5 and 7. I spend a lot of time with my sister and her little girls and I love them more than I can say. But every time I’m around my sister and her kids I notice things I would do different from her in terms of leniency and discipline. How do I tell my sister that I don’t agree with how she’s parenting my nieces?
